Caribe Dining Passport Program Agreement
Use of the Caribe Dining Passport Program Card constitutes acceptance of the conditions listed herein:
1. Program Card: The Caribe Dining Passport Program Card is the property of the issuing agent and must be returned upon request. Program privileges will only be honored upon presentation of a valid Program Card and only through the date embossed on the Program Card. Program Card has no cash value.
2. Dining Benefits: A) Upon presentation of a valid Program Card, each Caribe Dining Passport affiliate will be provided a complimentary meal when accompanied by one or more dining guests, provided at least one meal is purchased. The complimentary portion of your bill is determined by dividing the total food bill (excluding alcoholic beverages, taxes and gratuities) by the number of people in your dining party, and subtracting that amount from the original bill. Limit one (1) card per table. Dining benefits are nontransferable. Your card will be honored at the CARIBE HILTON SAN JUAN at Palmeras Restaurant for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. CARIBE HILTON SAN JUAN reserves the right to change hours of operation without prior notice. All food must be purchased during the restaurant’s operating hours, and ordered from the restaurant’s regular menu, including any and all special menus, attachments, or “clip-ons”. B) Each Caribe Dining Passport affiliate receives one (1) certificate valid for one (1) complimentary Piña Colada cocktail or fruit punch at Oasis Bar. To quality for the complimentary drink, affiliate must have dined at Palmeras Restaurant at least once during the first three (3) months of his/her membership. Nontransferable.
3. Dining Restrictions: Program Cards will not be honored at the CARIBE HILTON SAN JUAN on Valentine''s Day, Easter Weekend, Mother''s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year''s Eve or New Year''s Day. Other blackout dates may apply. Please contact the CARIBE HILTON SAN JUAN to confirm the date each holiday is observed. Not valid with room service, any other discounts or promotions.
4. Guest Room Benefits: A) Each Caribe Dining Passport affiliate is entitled to a Preferred Membership Room Rate of at least 30% off rack rate. In the event that a lower non-restrictive room rate is available for the dates booked, member shall be entitled to receive a 5% discount off the best publicly available rate. Subject to availability. A valid Program Card must be presented in order to redeem benefit. Valid based on advance reservation, space availability and restrictions on allocated rooms. Non-transferable. B) Guest Room Restrictions: Guest room benefits are valid for standard guest rooms only, based on advance reservations, subject to space availability and restrictions on allocated rooms. Not valid for bookings through travel agents, group or block bookings, or in conjunction with corporate rates. Program number must be provided upon time of advance reservation for affiliate. Program Card must be presented in order to redeem benefits.
5. Complimentary Wine Benefit: Each Caribe Dining Passport affiliate receives one (1) certificate valid for one (1) complimentary bottle of house wine, pursuant to Puerto Rico liquor laws, to be enjoyed during the week of their Birthday or Wedding Anniversary at Palmeras Restaurant. This non-transferable benefit is not valid for room service. Affiliate must be at least 21 years of age and bottle may not be removed from restaurant.
6. Lounge Benefit: Each Caribe Dining Passport affiliate receives a ten percent (10%) discount off the total bill (excluding taxes and gratuities) at the Oasis Bar. Valid during Happy Hour. Not valid on black out dates. Non-transferable.
7. Banquet/Catering Benefit: Each Caribe Dining Passport affiliate is entitled to receive a ten percent (10%) discount off food only (excluding beverages, taxes and gratuities) with a minimum purchase of $500.00 and a maximum discount of $500.00 off the bill when holding a catered social event at the hotel. Not valid with any other discounts, promotions or previously booked events. This benefit cannot be used for business purposes of any kind associated with meeting planners, wedding organizers and any other business planners. This discount only applies to new business. Non-transferable.
8. Certificates: Each Caribe Dining Passport affiliate receives one (1) set of Exclusive Certificates, valid until the expiration date on the Program Card, based on following conditions: A) This Certificates are described on this booklet and cannot be replaced once they have been issued to member. B) All Certificates that are clearly marked as “transferable“ may be given to any other person by the member and member does not need to be present when redeeming the certificate, however, a valid membership number must be provided by the certificate user. C) All Certificates that are clearly marked as “non-transferable“ must be used only by the member and a valid membership number and a membership card must be provided when redeeming the certificate. D) Each Certificate describes how it can be redeemed and its restrictions. As each of restrictions or conditions may vary from one certificate to other, please familiarize yourself with each of them before redeeming the certificates. E) To redeem each Certificate member must advice the intention to use the certificate when requesting the reservation or the service where the certificate will be used.
9. Complimentary Sunday Brunch Benefit: Each Caribe Dining Passport affiliate receives one (1) certificate valid for one (1) complimentary brunch for two (2) at Palmeras Restaurant. This non-transferable benefit is not valid on black out dates.
10. Referral Card Incentive: Upon submitting five (5) names of friends or colleagues to be solicited for potential programs, you will receive one (1) certificate valid for one (1) complimentary bottle of house wine (pursuant to Puerto Rico liquor laws) or dessert for up to two (2) persons, to be enjoyed while dining at Palmeras Restaurant. This non-transferable certificate is not valid for room service. Must be at least 21 years of age. Bottle may not be removed from the restaurant.
11. Certificates: The CARIBE HILTON SAN JUAN must be notified as to the use of certificates at time of advance reservation. Certificates must be presented upon arrival in order to redeem benefits. Valid only through the date embossed on Program Card.
12. Other Promotional Discounts: Caribe Dining Passport program privileges may not be used in conjunction with any other discount programs or promotions, including corporate rates.
Terms & Conditions
1. Lost/Stolen Cards and Certificates: All lost or stolen certificates will not be replaced. Lost or stolen Program Cards must be reported. A processing fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) will be charged for replacement of Program Cards. If your card is lost or stolen, a replacement card will be issued with a new program number and the same expiration date as the previously issued card.
2. Limitation of Liability: In no event will the marketing agent of Caribe Dining Passport be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages without limiting the generality thereof, including any loss, cost or damage to or suffered by Caribe Dining Passport affiliates or others, arising from defects, negligence, delays, failure of performance or non-performance. Including all claims, demands, obligations, liabilities, indebtedness, breaches of contract, breaches of duty or of any relationship, liability for acts, omissions, misfeasance, malfeasance, damages of every type, nature, or kind suffered by the Caribe Dining Passport affiliate or to others, resulting from the action, or inaction of the Hotel or its agents or employees.
